Now that the weather (and all that rain!) is clearing up, we can make the most of the fresh fruit and vegetables that New Zealand has to offer.
We now have available a locally made Red wine & balsamic vinaigrette, made using our 2016 Ascolano EVOO..... or if you're feeling creative, its so easy to make your own and have fun playing with the flavours.
All four of our oils can be used as a base, depending on your preferred taste. I find the most popular for salads is our Koroneiki (blue label).
Grab a jar with lid, and experiment with oil, and perhaps mustard? garlic? citrus? red wine/white wine vinegar? honey? you cant go far wrong - shake it up and dress your favourite salad and impress your family with a healthy, tasty salad that is packed with antioxidants, and plenty of other health benefits.
